From a Guy's Perspective

Need advice? We've got a real guy to answer your burning love life questions! Read on, and be sure to send us more questions!

Q: I feel like I might be leading a guy on, but I can’t tell. He seems to really like me, but honestly I’m just not that into him. What should I do?

A: Get a teacup pig! The rest will work itself out. No, but seriously if you think you’re leading him on, make sure to stress to him that you all are only friends. What are you doing that might be leading him on? For example: Are you always going on ‘study dates’? You might think you’re just study buddies, while he sees it as a way to get closer to you. Invite more people next time, so that he doesn’t get mixed signals.

Q: My boyfriend and I are going different places for Spring Break. He’s been faithful so far, but I’m nervous he might cheat on me over break. What do I do?

A: Firstly, don’t freak him (or yourself) out by accusing him of something he hasn’t done. Trust the man. If you all are a solid couple he won’t go after other girls, just like you won’t go after other guys. If you’re not that solid, should you be in the relationship in the first place?

Q: I hooked up with my best friend. It’s been so awkward ever since. Now what?

A: There are two ways to handle this. If you think something could come out of it, you need to have a talk with him. If he says no, there’s still a reason you all were best friends to begin with, right? If you don’t see a relationship coming out of the hook up, then I suggest diffusing some of the tension by joking about it. Make sure not to tease him too much, but smile and let him know it’s not a big deal. You all will be back to normal sooner or later.
